Mark Browne

Active in industry bodies. Formerly also served as a director of AIMA and vice chair of events for Irish Funds for several years.

Vince Leon

Focused on the distribution of Thornburg’s Offshore (UCITS) family of funds domiciled in Dublin, Ireland. Responsible for sales in the offshore advisory channel covering the Americas for Thornburg Investment Management. Prior to joining Thornburg, was at Eaton Vance Investment Managers as director of offshore sales for the Americas. Before that held senior sales and distribution roles at several firms including Mirae Asset Global Investments, GE Asset Management, and Legg Mason Global Asset Management (previously known as Citigroup Asset Management). Beginning with Dean Witter Reynolds in 1992, have industry experience with both U.S and offshore investment products across different distribution channels at both the firm and advisor level. Hold a BS in finance from Manhattan College and have also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation. Tom Krasner, CFA has spent over 25 years in fixed income, distressed debt and high yield bonds. He has extensive experience in corporate restructurings, credit analysis, portfolio management, and workouts. Prior to co-founding Concise Capital with Mr. Koach, Mr. Krasner was Executive VP at Harch Capital Management, responsible for restructuring high yield bonds and bank loans. Previously, Mr. Krasner was a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Riverside Capital Advisers, co-managing the short-term high yield portfolio with Mr. Koach. Mr. Krasner began his career at John Alden Asset Management, a $4 billion life insurance company, where he ran a $250 million private placement portfolio. Mr. Krasner holds a B.A. in Economics, English and Mathematical Sciences and a M.A. in Economics from Rice University. From 1996 to 1998 he was President of the CFA Society Miami. He has served on the boards of Birch Telecom, Doe Run Resources, FWT, Institutional Deposits Corporation, Nutritek, Sterling Chemicals, and Trism.

Kevin Shea

Mr. Shea is CEO of Disciplined Alpha LLC. and has 25 years of investment experience. Previously he was the Director of Quantitative Research at Cadence Capital, responsible for implementing a regime-based approach across multiple products representing $5 bb. Mr. Shea has also held the positions of Portfolio Manager at Batterymarch where he managed $600 mm, and CIO and Founder of DA Capital where he grew the firm from $10 mm to $450 mm over four years. He has also been a Portfolio Manager at Invesco, responsible for $100 mm, and a Quantitative Analyst at John Hancock Funds. Mr. Shea holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame, an A.L.M. in Biology from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. in Finance and International Studies from Boston College. Mr. Shea co-teaches a Proseminar in Finance at MIT's Sloan School of Management. He is a member of the CFA Institute, and the Institute for Quantitative Finance, also known as the Q Group. He is also a member of the Financial Accounting Standard Board’s (FASB’s) Investor Advisor Committee (IAC). Mr. Shea has been quoted in numerous publications including aiCIO, Emerging Manager Monthly, Hedge Fund Alert, HFM Week, Institutional Investor, and WatersTechnology.
